Ella's First Easter Egg Hunt.

This Ella's first Easter egg hunt. She loved it. We did it with Wendy and her ward (Terra Vista). Ella loved picking up the eggs and putting them into the basket. It was a game to her. At that time, she did not know there was candy in them. She found that out in the next Easter egg hunt we had on Easter.

Picture Time!

We finally got Ella's 1 year pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids. It was quite an intersting experience trying to take professional pictures of a one year old. All she wanted to to is walk off the picture area and she had no fear of falling. I asked Wendy, Maylan and Brandon to come and help me entertain her. After jumping, singing, dancing, and making complete fools out of ourselves, we managed to get some pictures of her.

The Fun Never Ended!!

Ella watching the 3-D movie! She actually watched most of it.
It was at hot day and Ella loved to run through the water fountains.
Spending time in Toontown!
My sister Lisa Came down from Bosie, ID with her 4 kids Lauren, Ashley, Emma, and Preston. My other sister Laurie can down with her 2 boys, Kaden and Kyle. We had sooo much fun with them and Ella loved to be with her cousins. The whole week they were here, we had many activities planned. We went on the sailboat, went to The American Girl Place, Hollywood, spent two days at Disneyland, and ended up in Palm Springs. It was a busy but fun week. We enjoyed having them here and miss them soo much.

The American Girl Place

We went to The American Girl Place at the Grove in Hollywood. The store was filled with every possible American Girl thing. The girls got to bring their dolls and they dressed them up, did their hair, and had lunch with them. Ella brought her Bitty Baby her grandma Scott gave to her. The cafe we ate at was soo cute and the dolls got to sit next the girls. The lunch was a 5 course meal. It was very elegant and such a memorable moment. It is something I plan to take Ella again when she is a little older. Maybe we'll go with Grandma Scott because it is her kind of place.

Our Wedding Day!

I have been tagged several times by several different people and I haven't done anything. So I am finally doing something. This was our wedding day. Jordan and I were married for time and all eternity in the Oakland, California Temple on August 4, 2005. We had our ring ceremony and reception that evening at the Bridges Golf Course in San Ramon, CA. The day was beautiful and perfect. I could only find the pictures that my brother-in-law took so the pictures are more candid. However, my photographer has some of our professional pictures on his website at http://barthhoward.dotphoto.com/CPListAlbums.asp . I can't believe he still has them up. You have to scroll down and look for our names. I enjoyed looking at my wedding pictures and reflecting back on one of the best days of my life. I tag anyone that wants to participate.

Our Healthy BIG Girl

Today Ella had her 1 year old check up with Dr. Adan. Here are her stats.

Weight: 26 1/2 lbs (97th percentile)
Height: 31 inches (93rd percentile)
Head Circumference: They didn't say but she was past the 100th percentile.

Dr. Adan said Ella is very mature for her age. She was amazed at how well Ella walks and her coordination skills. She said ready for whole milk. She also received her shots. That was not fun and Ella screamed!!! I gave her a bottle right after and that calmed her down.
Ella has 4 teeth on top 3 teeth on the bottom. I believe she has one molar in the back. Ella has been walking for about 4 weeks and she likes to walk and wave her hand at the same time. She loves to talk and yells all the time in public. It's pretty funny but sometimes embarrassing. As you can see, Ella is very healthy. Jordan and I are very blessed to have a beautiful healthy big (not little) girl.

Disneyland Fun!

Yesterday Ella and I went to Disneyland with our friends Lisa, Audrey, and Kai Ruitman. It was a great day to go because there was no wait for any of the lines. We were only there for 3 hours and rode almost every child ride. The weather was great too(80 degrees). It was fun. Ella likes all the rides and shows no fear (even the drop on the Pirates of the Caribbean). She is harder to take since she wants to walk everywhere. It was a good relaxing day at Disneyland.

Our day at the beach

The Happy Birthday Song

Happy 1st Birthday Ella!

This is Ella's cake made by her Aunt Wendy. It looked great!

Ella celebrated her 1st birthday at the Rainforest Cafe. It was on Friday day night. Ella's grandma and grandpa came from Washington for the big event. We kept the party simple and invited mainly just family and some friends. It was sooo fun. The party started late because grandpa Scott's flight was later. Even though it was late, Ella was still a good girl. She loved all the attention. It was fun spending time with with everyone.

Check out my Slide Show!

Josh and Sarah's Wedding

While being in the Bay Area, we got to attend Josh Fosson's wedding. Jordan was a groomsman. We got to see a lot of our friends we haven't seen in a long time. There was lots of music and dancing. With all the excitement going on, Ella decides to fall asleep. It was so cute. The wedding was beautiful and we were glad to be there to support Josh and Sarah.

The Blue Coat

This blue coat is very special to Ella. It was bought about 20 years ago from her great grandma Dorothy. She bought it for Jorie for her first birthday. Well now Jorie is over 20years old and her mother sent it to us so Ella could have it. We hope to continue to pass it down to keep this tradition.

Our Trip to Portland!

Ella's First time on an airplane. She was an angel the whole time!

After Christmas, we flew to Portland to visit Jordan's parents. It was fun. It rain most of the time but we got to squeeze in lots shopping. We spent New Years there too. Ella stayed up to ring in th new year but then went straight to sleep.

Christmas 2007

Ella is so excited she got her stocking from Santa. She must have been a good girl.

This is Ella with her cousin Lily! They are 6 months apart, however they look about the same size.

For Christmas, we went to the Bay Area with Jordan's Family. We spent Christmas morning at Grandma Jean's house and then spent the rest of the afternoon at Aunt Sue's house. The flu seemed to be going around at the time. Marjie happened to get it on Christmas day. It was a bummer. We had a great dinner at Aunt Sue's followed by gift exchange. Ella's cousin Lily was there and they got to meet for the first time. It was a fun day.
